Recently had a pouchoscopy and all looked good except for a large ulcer connecting j pouch to small bowel.  I have had this for a couple of years and it does not appear to be getting larger. Has anyone had this? Am worried about the ulcer cutting deep and putting a hole in the pouch.  It is not cancerous but probably is ischemic. Hoping the body will send out new blood connections to bypass the ischemic part but it has not done so for the past few years.  Am having a consultation next week about this with my GI doctor, but am curious if anyone has had to deal with this.  Needless to say, am a bit curious and worried.  I do have bouts of constipation with my pouch and work hard to keep it functioning.  Any experiences with this?
