Since we are supposed to take either gummy or chewable multivitamins, what brand do you use? I can't find any that have all of the regular vitamns and minerals that a regular vitamin has in it.  None of them have iron or magnesium to name just a few.  Can they not put those in the form of gummy or chewable? I'm currently taking Nature Made Gummies and they are missing a lot of vitamins and minerals.  What do you take?

When I was taking a multivitamin, I just took a generic equivalent of Centrum. Now I take specific supplements based on what I need (vitamin D, B12, fish oil). The rest I cover with a varied diet. Nobody ever told me I needed gummies or chewables. As long as you can dissolve a pill in your stomach, you should be OK.

That said, some swear by Forvia, which is supposed to be better for those with IBD.

I used to have a vitamin cupboard that cost a fortune to maintain...Everything and anything that I could find that was supposed to give me energy, healing, strength etc...

Then I realised that they were all coming out the pouch the way that they went in (especially those huge B complex horse pills and the multi vits that never dissolved)...They were more trouble than they were worth.

Now I am selective. I get Vit D ampules 4xs/from my doc to maintain the level (they are very serious about that here), a chewable gummy from Costco (you need to take at least 4/day to get a min of anything decent out of them) and collagene. I do seasonal things like a month of liquid B drops or some other stuff depending on my diet etc but I try to compensate by using the cooking water of all my veggies as a sort of tea... I also use tons of herbs and they contain loads of trace minerals. Seems to work great.

That plus a more/less large choice of veggies/fruits and I am done.

The rest is a clean lifestyle and healthy food choices.
