I keep having this buldge that forms in my left middle rib cage. Back when I first got it my oncologist pressed the area and said he could feel it to. I have complained about this to surgeons and GIs but, like usual, nobody can see anything. I think it is an adhesion or a kink in the bowel or stomach. Food passes by it so I don't have a blockage. This has been going on almost since I had surgery. Just wondering how a doctor can figure this out, I would like to have the thing cut out since it really hurts at times and just really bugs me.

No idea who to see next about it.

I would think that with the amount of abdominal surgery you have had, there can be any sort of weird adhesions, hernia-type things, etc. going on in there. If stuff is moving through, I doubt anyone would mess with it if it is not a solid mass, does not show up on scans, or causes constant pain. I believe the theory is that the surgical "cure" could easily wind up causing even worse pain. They aren't magicians (although I am sure sometimes we wish they were wizards and could cast a spell on our problems!).

Obviously, you cannot go back and undo your bariatric surgery, cholecystectomy, colectomy, and BCIR (well maybe the BCIR, but what would be the point?).

I read somewhere that there is some sort of light that can break up adhesions. It literally feels awful to have. My GI who just cut more cancerous junk out of me said he saw nothing wrong in the inside. The BCIR is too low, this was assumed to be my stomach. I had stomach surgery back in 2005 and never had this until now so just seems weird. I have a hital hernia but I was told it wasn't worse and wouldn't be a cause since I also have had that for years and this is a new thing.

Just want to get rid of it. Makes me breathe weird when it is painful.

I also don't form that much scar tissue. When I had my colon removed there was no real sign of any from any past surgeries.
Well, you're lucky you don't form many adhesions. But, it only takes one to cause problems. Even if you never had problems before, you can have an adhesion that suddenly causes problems. Not sure what that light treatment is. I suppose if you go through enough surgeons, you may find one who is willing to explore and find that bad boy. I'm sure it is really frustrating.
