Moved to Sarasota from Nj. Had the best medical team ever. I was feeling great and always felt good that they were looking out for me. Now I'm trying to develop some sort of relationship with a GI Dr and Colorectal doctor. The reason I need both is I have a jpouch and Crohn's.
Recently saw my Gi dr and told him I was flaring. Asked him to do a Calprotectin fecal test to see inflammation level and ustekinumab test to see my Stelara level. It's been two weeks since he got the results and still hasn't called. Left a couple of messages and still no call.
Both tests confirm there is an issue. Probably pouchitis again and the stelara levels are too low. I started taking Budesonide again because it was getting out of hand, I'm at my wits end and can't find a good GI that can help. I am willing to go to Tampa and would really hate to drive 3hrs to Cleveland clinic. Any suggestions on a GI that specializes in Crohn's.
