The comments after this article are so sad. While the story was well written and entertaining, too many people found this situation hilarious.
I guess none of them ever suffered from colitis. I was expecting the comments to be sympathetic.....Maybe I shouldn't have read them.
Am I being too sensitive? That "other" people shouldn't be laughing at what seems like a nightmare to most of us?
I'm okay now that I got that off my chest.

I hesitated to post it, but I found the descriptions in the piece to be delightfully over the top. Obviously this isn't funny to anyone while it's happening to him or her, and most of us have had more than our share of bathroom discomforts. I'm sorry the humor didn't offset the other aspects for you. I didn't read the comments.
Don't get me wrong....that was a great article. We can all relate to it somehow. It was the comments that killed it for me.
Maybe it is a case of "We can laugh at it but other people should not".
In any case, people's comments on most public postings (youtube etc) are getting harsher and harsher. It is just the way the world is now. Maybe I am just getting too old for this new form of communication?
Keep posting funny stuff! We need the laugh in our lives.
