Daughter had J-pouch 19 years ago due to UC - now after her long hail and hearty history and being monitored - they have now found cancer in her pouch. One Dr wants to do surgery first, another radiation first how does one make the right decision - so please say your prayers.

You get a 3rd opinion!
Two out of three is my usual way to go...I am always concerned about radiation in the pouch...could make it fragile and cause problems...what is the least invasive method that they are proposing? What is the most effective?
I am a cut and slice kind of girl and am more prone to have things removed than fiddle around with them only to have them cut after all is said and done...but this is Her life, her body and her pouch so she needs to feel comfortable with the decision...
