Uterine Ablation

Has anyone had uterine ablation after having a j-pouch? I've had a perfectly functioning j-pouch for about 16 years. I'm tempted to do an ablation thanks to heavy menstruation but I read that one of the risks is potential damage to nearby organs and well, I'm pretty fond of the ol' pouch so I don't care to risk it. Overblown concern or is that a legit possibility I should consider?
