So over the past 6 months or so, I've had (2) bouts with pouchitis that was resolved with Cipro. Dr. also got me started on VSL #3 DS which I've been on about 4 months now. Recently came off Cipro about a week ago for last bout. Shortly thereafter, I had 2 full days where my abdomen, just below my belly button has been moving and fluttering. almost like I have a baby in there. I can see movement and feel the movement. I'm male so I'm just comparing to what I've seen a pregnant women's belly look like when a baby moves in there. It stopped for a few days but started up again last night and has been going on all day so far today. I have no pain or discomfort and I have good control of my bowels. I don't have excessive gas or bloating either. I did notice just a very small amount of blood in my stools yesterday, but it is not there or at least noticeable with every BM. I'm not overly concerned at this point but this is something I don't recall experiencing in my 20 yrs with a J Pouch. Anyone else experience this or might know what could be going on?
