This group has helped me so much over the last 20 years living with a jpouch when things come up. Thank you!!

The newest thing is that I just found out I'm pregnant with Twins!! I'm happy after four rounds of IVF to finally have a chance at a sibling(s) for my 3 year old son. However, up until the last round we only put in one embryo because I was scared what twins would do to me medically.

My son was also through IVF, had a great pregnancy but did have some complications after the c-section. I developed an ileus so ended up with an NG tube - which thankfully cleared it up.

So I'm both excited and nervous now. Anybody have experience carrying and delivering twins via c-section.

Oh and to complicate things even more...I had sugery for an anal abscess over the summer and just found out I have a fistula that they won't be able to take care of until after I deliver.

It's still very early on, just 7 weeks but getting ready for what's ahead!!

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have a jpouch and delivered twins (IVF) via c section 6 1/2 years ago.  They monitored me as a high risk pregnancy and watched all three of us very closely the whole pregnancy and more so as it got later into the pregnancy I was going once a week.

They came 6 weeks early, both waters broke at the same time after getting into bed one night. They spent a month in the NICU but are wonderful, beautiful little girls!!  I took great care of myself, ate very well and although I was working, I had a very flex schedule and could work from home.  Rest and relax and enjoy!  Blessings to you and your family!
