Today was my last radiation treatment! I'm thrilled and I' m also VERY VERY lucky that it was picked up on a routine mammogram in february...was not even a lump but only cells and stage zero DCIS.......other than being tired, I'm OKAY!
Ladies...be sure to get your routine mammogram screening...can save your life!

So happy to hear this! And thank you soooo much for the reminder! I had my first mammogram last year at age 41, which came back with a lot of calcifications so I had a repeat one. They told me it most likely was "normal" but would be concerned if there were changes after 6 months. I am now 7 months out and haven't made my app. After reading this... I am calling my Dr. Tomorrow. I shouldn't mess around with this I know.

Thanks again for the reminder and thank God you are ok and they caught it early! I wish you the very best!

Alex
