today I finally finished my radiation for breast cancer!

That's great! Happy to hear you are okay. My mom just went thru the same thing. Picked up the tiny tumor on her annual mammogram. She's fine now thank goodness. Get checked ladies!

So happy to hear this! And thank you soooo much for the reminder! I had my first mammogram last year at age 41, which came back with a lot of calcifications so I had a repeat one. They told me it most likely was "normal" but would be concerned if there were changes after 6 months. I am now 7 months out and haven't made my app. After reading this... I am calling my Dr. Tomorrow. I shouldn't mess around with this I know.

early detection is THE key to a great outcome.....my routine colonoscopy saved my life in 2008 and this last routine mammogram saved my life in 2012....early detection and routine screening is a very small price to pay for life!

Nurse Alex...YES! don't mess around...get your repeat mammogram...better to be safe than sorry!
