Thanks TE,
RDV tomorrow morning for the ultrasound but I now have a very uncomfortable symptom that I just don't understand...woke up this morning with 'granuals' under my tounge, inside the whole inside of my lower gums and down my throat...feels like am trying to swallow 1000 grains of big sand...Took an antihystamine this morning but it didn't help...it is grainy and really uncomfortable and makes it very difficult to swallow...I had soup and yoghurt today and hoped that the whole thing would subside but tonight it is still going strong...What is this? I can't see anyting, didn't eat any differently than usual yesterday and have not taken any unusuel drugs...what the...?
Sharon
I thought about it...I guess that it is possible.
I am seeing the Dr tomorrow (I hope...if there is room) with the results of the ultrasound & bloodwork. No tonsils either so I can't figure it out. Waiting for it to disapear but it hasn't thus far.
I guess that I will know more tomorrow...just hope that it is temporary and not permanent.
Sharon
Ultrasound good...Didn't find anything to worry about...no swelling of the thyroid (then again he never looked at it before!) but cannot figure out why the whole area looks like there is 1/2 a potato cut lengthwise stuck to my neck. Took advantage of being on his table to get my abdominal ultrasound done...all good too.
So what is wrong in there and why is there a lump in my throat?
Sharon
You are on the way to see your doctor with the results of the tests and for an actual examination today right? Good news is your thyroid isn't enlarged but the soft tissues are enlarged for some reason. A doctor needs to examine you, the new symptoms, the echo and your blood work to figure out what is wrong! There is an explanation in there somewhere and I hope you find out today. Smiler
