I am 6 years out and things have been pretty good with my jpouch up until a week ago.   I can hardly go and when I do nothing hardly comes out and then I have that urge to push.   It makes my whole shake and when the episode is over I'm exhausted and then starts the throbbing pain in my back all down my legs.   I don't get it. I'm not blocked because then within an hour it all comes out.  I'm still eating a little but I don't get what is going on.  I haven't changed my medicine or anything,   I'm at a loss with what my pouch is doing.  This throbbing after I go is unreal.  I have had pouchitis before but I'm scared to take anything cause then it will really cause me not to go.

Any help would be great or ideas.  I have my sigmoidoscopy April 4, 2018.   Right now I'm so disparate and miserable.  Thank you

Well after days of trying to figure out why my Cipro isn't working for Pouchitis and all the pain I have been in.  I realize from searching and searching I have cuffitis.  My GI doctor had an opening next Tuesday.  And he prescribed Proctofoam.  I didn't have a blockage.  If I do think I do I drink 100% pure grape juice.  I am hardly eating but getting by on gentle food.  And drinking lots of water.  I can't drink Gatorade or any of those sports drinks.  They make me sick.  I'm praying to find some relief tonight.  Has anyone else used this foam?  I have not ever felt so much throbbing and the urge to push.  Thanks for responding.
