Happy St. Patricks Day. I am scared to actually write or say it out loud but I feel like I may finally be turning the corner and starting to have a "normal" j-pouch life. It will be one year April 18th since takedown. I left my very stressful job in December and I am sure that has helped alot. Now to find a job I will enjoy and they will enjoy me and continue to enjoy my new life. Keep fingers crossed for me.

Holly that is great news! I wish I could say the same. The j pouch seems to be getting stronger for me as well.It will be 1 year on 4/30.

I am still having some complications in other areas. They found blood in urine and the girlie issues (if u know what I mean) I had a biopsy to see if I have an infection. Not sure what is going on in that area. I certainly have my OBGYN stumped! I went into menopause right after the surgery and I am only 49 now.

Not having a good time yet! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

RLC, hopefully theY will figure out what is going on with you. Like I said I was scared to say this or put it in writing, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I thought I was going into menopause after my 2nd surgery but 4 months later things started back up on schedule. I am 53 and still regular as rain in that area.
