Dear Stomy,

We’ve had an up and down relationship since you came into my life 10 weeks ago.

I never thought you would have the effect you did on me. I put up with your tantrums and messiness and you taught me a lot about myself, resilience and the human spirit.

Look, I’ve never been good at this so I am going to say it.

I am breaking up with you. I am not a mean spirited person but I need for this relationship to end. We had many a discussion over the last several months and you kept convincing me to stay. Enough is enough. I am not going to lie to your face and give you the “it’s not you it’s me line.” The truth is I’ve met someone else.

I know what your thinking; that I will be back. I don’t plan on it.

I might as well tell u you her name. It’s J Pouch.

Yeah I know, who goes by an initial as a first name.

I’m going to give this relationship a shot and see where it goes. I think I will love her, and we will have a happy life together.

My apologies for breaking up by email, but I know how you are. You will find someone else and life will go on.

I suggest that you start looking now for a place to be. Because on May 7, 2021 I am outta here.

Please behave yourself during the next several weeks so that we can part as friends and perhaps look back on our relationship someday and smile and laugh about it.
