hi All,
my pouch revealed no leaks yesterday and i am good to go for my takedown surgery on 8/21! very excited to move to this next and final phase of the process. kind of anxious to go back to square one with learning how to cope and live with a j-pouch, but looking forward to removing this ostomy. though i haven't had major issues with it, i still want to get rid of it.
i'll keep you posted as things progress. hopefully this time i will not be in the hospital for 17 days like i was after my 1st surgery!
