Greetings everyone, Wanted to post on behalf of my wife. She had a 3 step procedure which included a complicated pregnancy between steps 1 and 2 during which her galbladder was removed while pregnant and a number of emergency room visits/hospital stays due to obstructions from expanding uterus. It has now been 2 years since her takedown and she is doing terrific. She has gained back all her weight and energy, eating well and frequency is 4-6 times a day and never had pouchiitis. She has full control and able to handle the madness of raising an active toddler. As this forum gave us so much valuable info when we needed, just wanted to post something positive as we head into the new year. There were lots of ups and downs along the way, but in the end, she is doing great and we are so thankful to her surgeon and team. Good luck to everyone and keep your head up.
