First time posting I've had my j- pouch since 2014 colitis that turned out to be chrons. I had a obstruction last year surgery. Had another a month ago. Cat scan last Monday ultrasound on Friday. Got call saying in need a hida scan that will take 2 to 4 hour hours tomorrow has anyone been through this

They said a hida scan at radiology looking at my gallbladder pancreas and bole ducts 3 test in 10 days is making me nervous

I am not familiar with that particular test but found plenty of information on it here. It seems to be a diagnostic tool for possible obstructions in the liver and gallbladder ducts:

I wish you the best with it. Hopefully someone on the board who has had the HIDA scan can post about their experience with it. Sorry to hear you are having to deal with these issues but hopefully the HIDA scan helps get to the bottom of what is going on. It may be a very treatable issue that you have.
This thought just came to me!!! A hida scan is scanning the gallbladder I believe. Do you have gallbladder problems??
