I had my reversal 4 days ago. I'm doing pretty good except my abdominal area is really swollen, I'm sure that is from the surgery. My main problem is that I am not hungry. I feel full all the time, like I have just eaten a very large meal. I don't think this feeling is coming from my pouch but from my stomach. All I have eaten today is one Eggo waffle with peanut butter on it and then for lunch a grilled chicken snack wrap from McDonalds. Also water but not a large amount. It isn't just today, so no matter what I eat or dont eat I have this feeling. My boyfriend is ready to go out to dinner tonight and I don't feel like I can eat. Anyone else experience this?

I didn't eat much either. I made myself eat protein fruit smoothies and also ate Greek yogurt and rice krispie treats (they have marshmallows so help firm, lol). Nothing else sounded good. I then added baked chicken and mashed potatoes. I had plenty of prednisone weight to loose.

It's also better if you eat more frequent lighter snack like meals than big meals. I was told that lean protein was good for us after take down.

Take care Smiler
The swelling and lack of appetite are totally normal. You're only four days out!! I think I was visibly swollen for at least week if not more.

I'm four weeks out now and my appetite is still fairly low. Small frequent meals are good as is protein (Greek yogurt is a godsend). I get full very quickly and I just don't want more. I think it's OK!
My original post was just after My final surgery in August. I still have this feeling of fullness. No matter what I eat. Example, last night I ate out. I had a BBQSandwich on a bun and a side of potato salad. The popato salad serving was small, less than a half of a cup. I ate the meat from the sandwich and only the top bun. Before I left the restaurant I felt like I was going to explode. I was miserable for a couple of hours. It was like I had eaten an eight course meal. I had eaten very little all day long until that meal. Again, it wasn't what type of food I ate, it is any food.
