hello everyone, I recently started pain management and was wondering how it all works? I know they drug test to check the levels of your opiates to make sure you are actually taking hem and not selling them, it's actually sad people abuse the system to where they actually have to do this.. I know they also can randomly do a pill check and that. You are supposed to take your prescription to each visit. Does anyone have experience as far as being a couple short, maybe 6 tops. Sometimes I may take one or two extra if I'm having a "bad" day as far as pain goes for break through pain. I wasn't sure if they are really strict as far as you must be on the exact pill you're "supposed" to be on for that day or if they're leniant if its just a few..I never abuse any of my medication and really do need it for now. I get 120 oxycodone 10's for the month for now. And I just started going. I just don't want to do anything that could red flag me and get me discharged from the office. I plan on eventually tapering off after my last surgery in a couple weeks. But for now I need the meds. I didn't know if anyone had any experience with pain management offices or anything. They also gave me a urine test my first visit, anyone know what they test for besides the narcotics if anything ?
