I have been married for 32 years. In 2011 my husband went thru approx. 14 procedures due to uc.
I was with him every step of the way. To date, we no longer communicate. He tells everyone he's fine, but in reality, he has no ambition..and doesn't feel well. He has stopped communicating with me and I feel like I am walking on eggshells in my own house. He has distance himself from me totally and I feel like he is pushing me away. His anger is focused towards me and I need help dealing with the situation. I have been to counseling and feel an intervention might help me better understand. I am willing to hold a meeting once a week in my home for the spouses of those with uc. I am located in the jersey shore area and in need of communication with those feeling my anguish.
