I am 1 month out from my first Jpouch surgery. I had a one step surgery where they removed my colon from precancerous cells, I do have a hx of ulcerative colitis. Since being home I am constantly nauseous. I am only able to eat a few bites at a time and I keep getting a pain in my right side under my ribs. I had a gallstone on ct prior to my surgery, and I hear that after this surgery you are more prone to getting gallbladder disease and pancreatitis, does anyone else have or have had these symptoms?

Are you sure you are staying adequately hydrated? Your body has been through a lot and is still in the early stages of recovery.

That being said, within a couple weeks of my takedown surgery I had almost constant nausea, right sided pain, could only eat a few bites without feeling miserably full, and started vomiting as well. An ultrasound revealed several gallstones, so I got to have another surgery with absolutely no relief in symptoms whatsoever. It took a third and finally a fourth opinion over the next five months but I was finally given a diagnosis of gastroparesis.

If your symptoms are bothering you I would give a call to your GI or surgeon and see what they suggest. At the very least they can prescribe some anti-emetics for you to help with the nausea.
Gallstones are a possible culprit since you say you already had one, but this sounds like it could be a partial blockage as well. Definitely call your surgeon to report your symptoms. In the meantime, stick to fluids, walk as much as you can, take warm baths and gently massage your abdomen. If you develop severe pain or begin vomiting, you should go immediately to the hospital.
