I’m taking both. So if one of these were constipating me after a weeks use, which would you suspect most?
Cipro constipated me after 3 days. Flagyl makes me nauseous. So I wonder about Rifaximin. However Bentyl is to slow my cramping down....so...
I know everyone had their own experience and they vary widely. But just wondering the overall opinion.

Constipation is a reported side effect of Bentyl, but not XIfaxan. Why not stop the Bentyl and see what happens?
Lots of things that can seem like constipation really aren’t. It’s only constipation if the stool gets hard. Other causes of difficult pooping need to be diagnosed and properly treated.
Actually constipation is listed with Xifaxan too. I’m probably using the word constipation wrong. I think I mean one or both of these are “slowing my system down” plus thickening it up. I have a stricture at my j pouch and I have a fine line between too loose and too hard. Its rough.
