Returning to J-pouch life

Hello all- I have recently returned to the J-pouch life after having a new pouch constructed in Cleveland when my former pouch failed after 13 years (or so- diagnosis of failure was a long process). My closure was November 6, and I'm recovering on TPN while returning to food. I do have questions, but will post in the need help forum. Thought I'd say "hi" here though. Anyone here on their second pouch?

Can you tell me how you received a second pouch? What is it made from?

I now understand how a second pouch is made. Doc said we need another pouch. Hope you're feeling well. Would like to understand your circumstances. Was the surgery a few steps similiar to how they construct today?
