I was supposed to have a remicade treatment last Wednesday, but because I got a covid vaccine before a full week had passed they wouldn't give it to me. I was scheduled for this upcoming Monday, but I'm having minor surgery the day after and not sure if I should have the treatment or not. Is it okay to wait until the following Monday, which would be 12 days later than my original infusion, or should stick with one for the day before surgery.

This is a really good question!!! Definitely! I would recommend asking whoever prescribed you the medication. I would hate for someone to tell the wrong advice and then something happens. Definitely ask the doctor ASAP
Thanks, Lauren, appreciate your answer. One of the problems was that my doctor was on vacation and hadn't gotten back to me and I couldn't reach anyone else. I did speak to the nurse in the infusion center and she felt it was okay to wait.
