Nuts and popcorn are very difficult to digest without the last 5 - 7 feet of plumbing. I don't eat much in the way of nuts anymore, but Jan said it best. Chew, chew and chew until you have completely mashed them... Watch out for greens and fresh veggies too, I have taken to blending most of my daily greens into a healthy smoothie. Kale or Baby Spinach with a handful of frozen pineapple or mango and a fresh Banana and Mila (Chia seeds) do the trick for my greens intake. Good luck and god bless.
Jan, I had to laugh out loud at your reply! You're right, I probably overdid the nuts, although I chewed the heck out of them. A nutritionist once told me they're taboo, but I love them and can eat them. She also told me to load up on system-slowing carbs??? Cataja, if my history proves me right, I will probably be ok tomorrow, but I will monitor. I did have blood today from those attacking nuts......Andrew, thanks for the suggestion. I usually steam my veggies til they're soft. They just taste better that way to me. I actually think I overloaded on too many foods that are iffy. Each one separately is ok, but together were probably too much for my pouch. I just love food too much and got carried away - fantasized that I was a coloned person til my pouch shook me out of my daydream!
