I currently have an ileostomy and it happened twice now that the stoma prolapsed. It become long and big, and it was painful, but when I lay down for a while it goes back to normal and then I have noe issues. I was wondering if this will change anything regarding my final two surgeries or the j-pouch? Will it be a problem for some reason? Also the area around the stoma is sort of bulging out, not much, but still. So I am worried that it won’t be flat once I am done with the surgeries. I am hoping to be very physically active once I have recovered properly from my final surgery and given it a lot of time to build up. Any thoughts/inputs? Thank you so much.
