Prescription for Opium Tincture in Miami, Fl

Hi, I've been having night accidents have tried imodium and lomotil with no help; my Dr. prescribed Opium Tincture to try and see if that helps. However, I have not been able to find a pharmacy in Miami that will issue the prescription. Anyone from around here that may know of pharmacy that currently issues this prescription?

I live in NY and it took me 8 different pharmacies in NYC before I found one. One of the pharmacists recommend that I look near the major cancer hospital in NYC (Sloan Kettering). And that's where we found it. He also said that none of the major pharmacy chains will carry/supply it.

Maybe your insurance company can help you find a pharmacy. Otherwise I'd start calling all the local pharmacies that I could find phone numbers for.

Tincture of Opium tastes so gross and the taste just lingers. Don't take it without something to mask the flavor.

Maybe your GI can recommend a pharmacy or can call one of their patients who takes tincture of opium and see where they get their script filled.
