I’ve got my pouchoscopy tomorrow and I’m just feeling sorry for myself tonight. Had the bottle of the prep tonight- 10 oz of whatever t drink and a still pooping. I feel crappy. Why do I have a stomach ache? Idk if it’s Bc I should drink more or not. Maybe I just am hungry. Doc wants to look beyond my pouch to make sure my intestine doesn’t look inflamed so maybe that’s why he didn’t do just a Fleet enema.

Anyhow, doing the fleet enema in the am. Not sure when I should do that. My appt is at 1pm. I leave my house at 11am. I’m thinking of doing it at 8:30am. Is that enough time? Not too long ahead right?

Im just having a pity party right now. I also have the of getting your to feed my 9 month old at 1am tonight- good times! 😒

If you did not cheat, you should be clear if you had only clear liquids after noon the day before the procedure and nothing by mouth after midnight the night before.  My general rule is to do the last enema about 2 hours before the time I have to leave for the procedure.  I implemented this rule due to years of experience with Fleet enemas and knowing when the last urge to vacate dribs and drabs will be.  I tend to be a tad sensitive to the Fleet enemas in terms of sometimes cramping and having repeated urge to go, so your vacate time may vary.

I think I just bought whatever was on the list of instructions. Maybe I’ll just use half the enema or whatever, argh.

The doc said I could have a regular meal until dinner the day before so I did eat until 4 pm yesterday so I bet I still do have stuff left in there. They did say I could have water until 10am this morning since my procedure isn’t until 2pm. I’m only passing clear stuff at this moment so I think I’m good.
