I had colon removed in January 2021, take down of ilieostomy in July 2021. Had been having 8-9 bathroom trips in 24 hours. Now post pouchoscopy I feel tons of pressure and urgency and am going 15 times in 24 hours! GI took biopsies and also put in an endoclip for hemostasis at the biospy site right at the anastomosis. She said the clip would eventually pass, but could that be causing the pressure and frequency?? Anyone else have issues following a pouchoscopy?

Hi Joni,

As I recall prior to colectomy, several times when my GI removed large lesions from my rectum, he used clips. My body did not like those clips and I had several post colonoscope days filled with cramps and frequency. Not the same as your pouchoscopy experience,  but I assume nonetheless, the body does not like foreign objects in it.

And,  after my recent pouchoscopy,  I remember it took a number of days for loose stools, diarrhea and cramps to subside.
