pouchitis, part 2

Hello,
Well I made it to CCF and Dr. Shen. He is wonderful; seriously I just about showed up and he did "squeeze" me in. I had a pouchoscopy and my pouch looks awful, ulcers and oozing - Shen said it was "moderate to severe PI" I am on tinidazole for 3 weeks; if that doesn't work he said "we need to talk" scary. anyway, I am feeling achy, like I have the flu, legs just throbbing in pain. I am wondering, is this the pouchitis? or is it from the trauma of having a bm through the stricture, which is at the end. And if I am feeling worse, which I am, I am thinking I need to email Dr. Shen to see if he wants to try something else.

Gosh and NO ONE has recommended any DC/Baltimore docs. Can it be there is no one here of high enough caliber to warrant a rec. from j-pouch community?
