Hey all,

I typically get pouchitis about 2 or so times a year, some worse than others. I started feeling a bout of pouchitis coming on Sunday evening. Then Tuesday night I started feeling feverish (body aches, chills) and had a low grade fever since then, with it becoming a bit higher (in the 100s) Thursday evening. I was able to get a prescription for cipro and flagyl Thursday, so hopefully that helps! I typically don’t feel feverish in the times I’ve previously had pouchitis, but multiple sites do list it as a symptom. I have no other “sick” symptoms like congestion, cough, sore throat and tested negative for COVID 3 times. Just trying to figure out if the fever is some other virus or if it’s connected to maybe having a more severe case of pouchitis? Does anyone else experience fevers with pouchitis flares?
