I am 23 and skinny, had my takedown 12 months ago. I still get some mild pain around my old stoma site after exercise, and I don’t work out hard. I thought it could be a hernia, but my doctor said it wasn’t when he felt it. He said it’s most likely scar tissue. Anyone knows how to get this to go away? Should I do any kind of massage or do some exercises to work up muscles around the area? Thanks!
I also wondered if it’s normal for the area around the stoma site to bulge out when leaning backwards and sort pushing the stomach out? I wonder if that’s the scar tissue. Thank you!
