Pizza and ice cream are the two foods I find very hard to avoid binging. Fortunately I can handle large quantities of them (as from a binge)  although binged ice cream gives me gas. Chook I empathize with you! Next time limit yourself to one pizza LOL. I recently had pizza at Pepe's in New Haven which is consistently voted #1 in the USA (Sally's and Modern are also top 10 pizzerias in New Haven). Here is the sausage, bacon, onion I had a few weeks ago. Note the distinctive thin crust and charring that defines the New Haven style of pizza:691455E3-6DD7-459F-955F-9867AD3161D2

especially with the burnt crust

Chook in New Haven Style pizza the crust is CHARRED, not BURNT. there is a big difference between the two that you must appreciate:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Haven-style_pizza

"What makes New Haven-style pizza distinct is its thin, oblong crust, characteristic charring, chewy texture, and limited use of melting cheeses. It tends to be drier and thinner than, but closely related to, traditional New York-style pizza. Both styles in turn are close descendants of the original Neapolitan pizza."

This method of cooking in coal-fired ovens gives the pizza crust a distinctive flavor that makes it superior.
