Does anyone else think it is funny when the techs in the room ,who do nothing but colonoscopys all day long, look at the screen and say "what the heck?"

Would be funny,but it never happened to me. My GI would announce that I had an ileoanal pouch instead of a rectum, so no funny surprises.

I used to get a reaction from radiologists when they saw my k pouch...nowadays I go back to the same guy on a regular basis so they are less surprised...But I had an intern who insisted that I still had a colon...inspite of the barbie butt and the stoma...showed me x-rays of my 'colon' as seen through an upper G.I. series...had to get a signed note from my surgeon to prove that it was small bowel and that I wasn't lying...
Some people just don't want to believe.
