I'm happy it's back. Lidocaine 5% is good pain killer, but RectiCare and LMX also have inactive ingredient of benzyl alcohol which burns real bad. Nupercainal has dibucaine with no alcohol. It doesn't add pain to my already painful butt burn.

No, Nupercainal has dibucaine 1%. The others have lidocaine 5%. Both are local anesthetics.
OK, now I remember.
I used it for a while when I couldn't afford my lidocaine prescription.
As I recall, it wasn't as effective as 5% Lidocaine, but it did have a noticeably beneficial impact on the pain associated with anal excoriation and butt burn.
I'm going to get some and use it in those instances where lidocaine is perhaps overkill, and the nupercainal would do the job.
