I have had pouchitis just a few times. If I get thin, fast watery output when I intubate and it last for more than 2 or 3 days - then I take a round of Flagyl ( 250 mg 3x daily for 14 days. ) Works well for me. My first doc scoped me. Found just a bit of redness. I had a moderate case. Some will have bleeding. Maybe a bit of a fever and just feel crummy.
