The Norovirus is going around my office like wildfire! We disinfect what we can, and spray Lysol but that can only kill so many germs. And from what I've read, only bleach can kill the virus, and without it, it can live on surfaces for weeks or even as long as a month!

Anyhow, I only had gastroenteritis once and it was horrible. It was after I had my j pouch and I was hospitalized for 2 days due to dehydration. I wonder if the effects of the virus is more difficult on our system, or if it hits us harder bc we're more susceptible to dehydration?

I'm pregnant too, so I'm terrified I am going to come down with it. I don't want to get sick, and I'm fearful that if I do get it, I will be mega sick like last time. I can't afford to get dehydrated with the baby. Also, when I get that sick, I become incontinent. That's the worst! It's just that everything is going haywire. Any suggestions on how to avoid it? I'm always wash my hands and am super careful about opening doors (I usually use the paper towel to open it when I'm leaving the restroom), etc.
