New Issue with Peanuts since Having J pouch. Possible allergy?

Ever since I got my J Pouch seven years ago, my butt either gets itchy or even hurts whenever I eat peanuts, depending on the amount I eat. This never happened before when I had a colon. Could this mean that I have a slight allergy that I was previously unaware of? Do other people have this issue when they eat peanuts?
