My husband has severe ulcerative colitis and really needs to talk to somebody who has been through the j-pouch surgery since the flare has gotten worse and he is now considering surgery. If anybody is willing to talk to him tonight that would be amazing. Thank you so much in advance.

My name is Michelle. I'm a dental hygienist and have no idea how to explain everything that he's about to go through. We're very sweet people and are easy to talk to, so I'll just hope someone sees this and is willing to actually call me and talk to him regarding this.

i would suggest that you have your husband come on and ask some questions. he can ask anything, and set up a private dialog with someone.
