Just to give you a little background so you can advise better. I am 69 male very healthy. My only problem is asthma and i take Singulare for it about twice a week. On Jan 3rd I had some fainting problem while driving -turned out my BP was 230/100. They put me on Amlodipine 5mg and I have been fine since then - BP ranges 110-150 and 65-80. pulse 70-80. Then I had bronchitis three weeks ago and it took a lot out of me. I had stroung anitbiotics. for the last two days I have been getting numbness in my left toes and left hand fingers. today I went to the gym and exercised for 40 min. Then I had a full glass of pure home squeezed blueberry, pinapple, banana smoothie. had an apple at 11am. I was at home depot and I felt like I am going to faint. So they gave me an energy drink. got better but again the same feeling and felt numbness in tounge as well. I went to subway and had a good turkey sandwitch with lemonade. I feel good now but my tounge is still numb along with left hand fingers and left foot toes. I am still coughing a bit - wonder if I have pneumonia but chest feels ok.

any advice. history of very strong heart in family but mother side has HBP issue and so do i.

What antibiotics did you get? Flatly causes the numbness you describe for me. I'd check if the med has that side effect. I had fainting and light headed issues early in my GI history and we never really solved it. But if you have bronchitis, you should probably rest a bit - skip the work out for a few days - maybe opt for a walk instead. There are some really strong viruses out there this year.
thank you so much for the reply. I think you nailed the problem. It must have been the antibiotic. I don’t do well with meds to begin thank you so much for the reply. I think you nailed the problem. It must have been the antibiotic. I don’t do well with meds to begin with - I also took Prednisone with it which I stopped after taking for two days because of strange reactions. I forgot the name of the antibiotic but it was 500mg. Today I really feel good - I took vitality multi vitamins yesterday and they made me feel good. I think general weakness from my prolonged bronchitis that’s causing all these symptoms. Thanks again.
