started having bleeding issues when i had b.m and in bowl after b.m.. some discomfort on and off..emailed dr. shen(he is in cleveland i am in cal) told him had a bad night after eating a lot of almond bread..he thought i had a fissure from too much fiber..we proceeded to treat as a fissure..
after about a week i thought maybe a good idea to see a local g.i to take a look and see to be sure it was a fissure
went today had a scope and he discovered a polyp in my pouch!!had not been scoped in 1 and a half years.. he removed the polyp and believes that is cause of my bleeding..he is sending it out for biopsy..
not bleeding now and will see how i fare tomorrow..hoping he found problem..who knew you could get a polyp in your pouch!!!
