mucosectomy and ABCRS Certified question

im due to have my 2nd of 3 surgeries for my j-pouch. my surgeon at cleveland clinic in florida says they dont do mucosectomy to preserve continence. im concerned whether its the right way to go. also there are numerous surgeons there, half are ABCRS Certified and half are not. mine is not and was wondering if that was a concern as well. thanks for any advise...
