Hey ladies thank you for checking on me. I had my BETA drawn yesterday, which was 10dp3dt and she called me and just said "bad news its negative, call us when your period starts in 2-5 days for a final visit.". I was so upset i didnt even ask her what the BETA was, i am assuming now that it was 0.....and then of course i have been all over the internet and it seems like most people have their first BETA a few days later......
I am just really sad right now and feeling sorry for myself which sucks! Its so crazy too because i "feel" pregnant. I had the on and off cramping for several days and just not sure what is wrong with my body.
I was talking to hubby this morning and we would just go straight for adoption but it is soooo expensive, which just totally amazes me how many people are out there looking for good parents for their babies and because of all the legal fees its so freaking expensive!
I'm so sorry. I can't imagine your disappointment. Please be kind to yourself right now.

As for adopting, there are many ways to adopt that aren't so expensive. We were well on the path to adopting - even had a home study done - so we learned a lot. Adopting out of your local social services agency is often free or nominal in cost. Wile newborns aren't always available, you never know, and you may find an older child you would fall in love with. Here in MA if you adopt out of children's services that child gets free tuition at a state college.

International adoptions can be cheaper than domestic, even w travel costs. Especially if you adopt from a place that has great need. When we were looking, adoptions from Ethiopia and some other African countries were heavily subsidized, so the cost was well under $10,000 and the kids could be escorted here so no additional travel costs.

Or if you opt for a private adoption, though expensive, it really isn't much more expensive than IVF if you don't have insurance coverage.

The adoption process can be overwhelming, so look for any resources you can find to help you navigate the system.

I hope you find a path to parenthood soon.
I'm so sorry honey. I "felt" pregnant every one of the four times we did IUI. It's the hormones. I agree with you it's terrible the financial and other hoops needed to go through to adopt. We had to look at what money we had avaialble and decide to EITHER spend it on adoption or on a single try of IVF and we went with the IVF. Any chance you can try it again?

Were you able to freeze any for FET? We were not because they didn't get enough eggs for any to be leftover, but many women do.

Big hug.
