I am going on 18 months with what dos say is motility issue. I had up ouch done 2001.alot os surgeries ie blockage and fistulas. But none since 2004. I hate to feel stupid but I don't get what doctors say or not say. 18 months ago I stopped being able to go. I strained, threw my back out. I did all sorts of tests. I even went back to surgeon Jeff milsom. He did see anything wrong, some narrowing, he gave me lactolose which is helpful. But I still can't eat any fruits or veggies even cooked.i am taking azulfadine which helps arthritis. And take probiotic. I also have type 2 diabetes, take metformin. My rheumatologist just told me to ask gastro about cytotec. I just want to eat better. If I try a cooked veggie it's hard to pass and almost feels stuck. Just so odd and frustrating. So thanks for letting me vent and ask does anyone have this and any suggestions. Thanks

Motility is the movement of food through the GI tract. If you have a motility issue then there is something causing the stomach or intestine to slow down (or stop completely in severe cases). Typically if you have a motility disorder you will be prescribed pro-motility drugs such as Reglan, Erythromycin, or Domperidone. Some doctors will try other drugs as well, depending on your response to these three, or what they believe to be the cause of the problem. The most common cause of motility disorders is some sort of problem with the vagus nerve.
