I had surgery on the 23rd of September for a total colectomy and j pouch construction all in one op. Feeling great and recovering well.
Every few days i can pass a milky smelly fluid out of my bottom. I dont get urgency feeling i can just feel that something is there and i could do with passing it.
Spoke to my stoma nurse and she said its normal and not to worry, i passed some last night before bed but i can feel it now next morning! What is this stuff? It doesn't have the consistency of mucus, more like water...
