Thanks for the recs. I ended up seeing my CRS a week ago and he prescribed some opioid pain meds (very helpful), lido and nifedipine cream (maybe a little benefit) and antibiotics for possible pouchitis despite being so close to takedown. Within 3 days on abx I was off the pain meds and urgency with spasms resolved. He treated without a scope which I’ll have this Tuesday but not sure if it will show anything after 10 days on abx. Weirdly in the past 2 days I’ve a some return of rectal pain with coccyx pain and a heavy sensation but nothing like before, no urgency, no tenesmus. I’ve been trying new foods last few days which may be causing some irritation. Guess moral of the story is you can have pouchitis (assuming it was given abx response) very early after takedown.
