I am a long term user of Tindamax. I’ve never had issues with getting the meds refilled. Since May, when I called for the refill, the pharmacies I’ve called (Walmart, Walgreens, CVS) have all said the med is on back order. I’ve had my prescription transferred back & forth to these stores bc they might have 6, 10, 12 on hand. I’m down to my last 2 & having trouble getting the remainder pills refilled. Is anyone else having trouble getting their meds refilled?  Just curious....guess I’ll have to call Dr. Shen for a med that’s similar. Thanks!

I know how much anxiety this causes. Flagyl was unavailable from the manufacturer last month. I found a pharmacy with some inventory and I‘m hoping it’s a brief problem. In case you haven’t tried it, remember that there are pharmacies in grocery stores and warehouse clubs like Costco, so there still might be some inventory.  Good luck!

Is this a supply chain issue related to Covid?  I am finding a lot of things are on back order.  I recently bought a new dishwasher, was advised it would take about a month to ship to the local store, which became 6 weeks when I was just called yesterday and they told me they can deliver and install it Saturday.  At the time of the original purchase they told me that longer wait times for appliance purchases, due to Covid impacts on the supply chain, are similar at all stores.

It might be COVID-19-related, or it might just be one of the ordinary, occasional supply chain or factory problems that crop up. I remember Asacol being unavailable for months many years ago, and brand-name Tylenol was hard to find about a year ago.
