Hello everyone, recently I have been introduced to manuka honey for its great benefits and especially for the small intestine and how good this honey to kill the bad bacteria that can cause a lot of problems that we as j pouches don't need

Did you ever try it? How did work with you did you get any of this honey benefits

I will share my experience after two to three weeks of using it but I want to know your experience if you ever tried it.

Mānuka honey is a monofloral honey produced from the nectar of the mānuka tree. The honey is commonly sold as an alternative medicine.

Manuka honey, produced in New Zealand by bees that pollinate the Manuka bush, is one of the most unique and beneficial forms of honey in the world. There are many Manuka honey uses that range from healing sore throats and digestive illnesses to curing Staph infections and gingivitis

Hello,

I suffer from chronic inflammation in my j-pouch. Where do you purchase this? Is  it available at a health food store?

Also, I am thinking that I may need a resection as well. I have had this pouch for 4 years now and its been nothing but trouble for me ever since. Actually about 2 years ago I went to Cleveland Ohio Clinic to reverse it. A doctor popped in and said how was my thyroid, well long story short I had a complete removal of it! I was told that It was so out of (high) I was close to having a heart attack. well ever since the removal just added more problems for me. My levels are constantly bouncing around, not even the Chairman of the Endocrine Dept. cant figure me out!

I am so tired of being In and out of the hospital, this is not a life!!!!! I was recently put back on TPN again in which I'm not happy about but had too because I was 87 Lbs.

I'm done but don't know what to do!!! Ostomy or Revision. I know I will have to get a docs advise so we can make a decision together.

My question is why did you have to have yours redone, how is the function now ,were you having the same problems as i have minus the thyroid? How long was the recovery? also, are you working or able to? What do you do for a living?

My thing is you only have 1 life, I want to enjoy with my family, and get back into my career or possibly change because of all the stress. I want to enjoy my life with my husband, want to adopt, travel and not live in the hospital, and being on all kids of meds. My fear is will it be the same even if i do go back. Has my disease spread? Bottom line I want a real life
