J pouch 8 yrs. I’m in severe lower back and pelvic pain. Episodes went from once a month to every 5 days within last 8 mos or so. Pouchoscopy & scans show no pouchitis, although there was no pain when tests were administered. Dr prescribed antib for 4 weeks but there was no resolution. Can anyone relate?

My theory is that it might be joint pain from IBD. I hear that pretty often on here. I think the next step should probably be radiology work.
In my case when I had your symptoms, it was gas pain. Do you think it could be gas pains???
Thanks for replying! I don’t know about gas. I feel like pouch is inflamed. To the point of pushing on my bladder as I even have trouble urinating... I’m 😩
Do you think you could have cuffitis? I have those same issues when I have cuffitis. But I also have other issues at the same time. The urge to push and the pain in my rectal cuffitis. I have never felt this type of pain. It’s unreal. Let me know what you find out.

Maybe you should get a second opinion from a gastro.
