Low abdomen pain

I have a a random question that has been on my mind for a while... so I get this sharp cramping at least once a month in my low abdomen and started after my ostomy take down surgery. It’s in my pelvic area and I can’t figure out what it is and doctors don’t really seem to know. It could be related to menstrual cycles now depending on what they cut through in surgery or it could be upset bowel issues. Does anyone else get these pains every so often? It happens on both sides but especially lower right side. It’s such a random question but it really bothers me when it happens. Thanks in advance!
